Proponents of the Fair Tax claim it will tame the federal tax tiger, to which I resoundingly state, "Not!". It doesn't eliminate the IRS, it merely renames it. It continues to tax new goods and services at a 23 percent rate. It will create a huge underground economy. And it does nothing to restrict the federal government from spending more than it is now.
As this article accurately points out, the Fair Tax is naught but a fraud.
